5 Days Murchison falls and Kibale safari

After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive where you will be rewarded with great views of wildlife such as buffaloes, Uganda kobs, Oribi, elephants, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, Jacksons hartebeest, giraffes among others which will be grazing in the open plains, predators like hyenas, lions, leopards, different bird species among others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch you will go for an exciting boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will be able to spot large herds of hippos in water, Nile crocodiles basking on the banks, view other animals like elephants, buffaloes, warthogs drinking water along the shores, view water birds like hornbills, cormorants, kingfishers, fish eagles, bee- eaters among others. After the boat ride which takes about 2 to 3 hours you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kibale national park which is also known as the primate capital.

On the way you will have en-route lunch, stopovers to take pictures, stretch your legs and enjoy stunning views of the beautiful scenery, Rwenzori mountain ranges, Lake George, crater lakes, tea plantations among others.

Upon arrival in Kibale national park you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After an early breakfast , you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kanyachu visitors Centre for a chimpanzee trekking briefing.

After the briefing you will start trekking in the forest in search of the chimpanzees and during the trekking you will be able to view different wildlife species including mammals, other primate species, view different bird species, tree species among others.

Once the chimpanzees are found you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviors, habits, watch them feed, breastfeed, hunt, play, fight, mate, rest, take photos and record videos.

After the one hour with the chimpanzees, you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide and transfer back to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch you will go for an exciting nature walk in Bigodi swamp where you will be able to view variety of bird species like the great blue turaco, shoebill stork, view different plant and trees, animals like duikers, bushbucks, sitatungas, primates like l'hoest monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, beautiful butterflies, enjoy the cool breeze, take great photos among others. After the Bigodi swamp walk you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After a relaxed breakfast on the last day of Uganda safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to Luwero. On the way you will have a stopover for en-route lunch and then proceed to Luwero arriving in the evening and upon arrival you will be dropped off at any place of convenience.
