3 Days Uganda Gorilla Safari in Bwindi

Wake up and have an early breakfast and then embark on a transfer to the starting point of your gorilla trekking in Bwindi experience with your packed lunches.

Go for briefing about gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park along with other gorilla trekkers where you will be briefed about the rules and regulations and what to expect on this safari.

Thereafter, you will be placed into groups of 8 and then allocated a gorilla family to trek.

Embark on the search for the gorillas in their natural habitat, taking between 2 hours to 7 hours or more depending on the terrain and location of the gorilla family.

While on a search for these gentle giants, look out for other attractions in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park like birds, primates and other wildlife. The Park has over 310 butterfly species, 200 tree species, 120 primates, mong so many others.

Upon encountering the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed to spend only 1 hour with the gorillas, acquainting yourself with their behaviours and characters. Take as many pictures as you may want, as well as videos, all the time being cautious and following the shared gorilla trekking guidelines.

You can spot zebras on the outskirts of Lake Mburo National Park as your heading back to Kampala. You shall be dropped off at your hotel or airport to catch an outbound flight.
